Work is scheduled to begin today on the Cook Street reconstruction project in Meaford.
The $2.2-million project includes the replacement of water main, sanitary sewer, storm water sewer and the reconstruction of roads and sidewalks on Cook Street between Collingwood and Lombard Streets (about 250 metres).
Cook Street will be closed to all traffic between Collingwood and Lombard Streets, except for local access to properties in the construction zone.
The reconstruction project is expected to be complete sometime in October.
