THE OPPORTUNITY:
We have a rare opening in Goderich for a Media Sales Senior Account Executive. The ideal candidate will be a confident salesperson responsible for developing and maintaining direct advertising client relationships to sell integrated radio sales proposals. This role primarily focuses on local sales for Country 104.9 in Goderich.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and maintain direct client contacts, providing exceptional customer service through proactive relationship management.
• Present and sell business solutions leveraging local radio to new and existing accounts.
• “Super serve” all accounts with integrity and professionalism, helping clients achieve results and grow their business.
• Achieve and surpass monthly sales targets, collaborating internally with our other radio stations to succeed and deliver value for clients.
• Demonstrate strong organization, time management, multi-tasking, and effective communication skills.
• Work effectively with sales support teams, including Sales Assistants, Production, Promotions, Programming, Traffic, Creative, and Digital.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in media, advertising, or related fields.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, including cold calling and prospecting.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple accounts.
• Basic understanding of radio broadcasting, media advertising, and digital marketing is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving abstract, and dependable vehicle.
• A motivated, results-oriented mindset with high energy and enthusiasm.
