The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 22 new Covid cases on Sunday.
According to Public Health, seven people from Saugeen First Nation, six from Owen Sound, two folks from each of Kincardine and Meaford, and residents of Brockton, Georgian Bluffs, Hanover, Saugeen Shores and South Bruce Peninsula tested positive.
The region’s active known case load was little changed at 196. Information about resolved cases was not available by publication time.
Eleven Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and three others are receiving care outside the area.
More than 191,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Ten Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Sunday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Saturday.
