The First Round will commence tonight at 7 pm followed by Rounds 2-7 beginning at 11:30 am Wednesday.
The New York Rangers have the 1st overall selection and it’s widely expected they’ll chose Alexis Lafrenière of the Rimouski Océanic.
Rounds 2 through 7 will be conducted tomorrow.
Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Oilers say McDavid, their team captain, is self-quarantining at home and experiencing mild symptoms.
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced that the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada and the Sherbooke Phoenix have suspended all in-person team activities.
The suspension comes after an Armada player tested positive for COVID-19.
The Armada and Phoenix played twice this past weekend.
The league says players and staff for both teams will now be isolated and tested as public health official explore the connections between players and staff.
Meanwhile, the Quebec government announced that team sports are barred in provincial COVID-19 Red Zones, which include Montreal and Quebec City.
