US President Donald Trump has returned to the White House, after spending three days in a military hospital being treated for COVID- 19.
Trump was released from the Walter Reed Medical Center around 6:30 P.M. Monday, just a few hours after tweeting “Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. … I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”
Trump will reportedly receive his fifth and final dose of Remdesivir on Tuesday.
It’s an experimental medicine being studied for use in treating conditions caused by coronaviruses.
The 74-year-old Trump is downplaying the severity of the virus and suggesting he may be immune to it, following his hospitalization.
However, doctors said yesterday that he was “not out of the woods” just yet.
Back at the White House, Trump climbed the South Portico steps, removed his mask and declared, “I feel good.”
The virus has claimed more than 210,000 American lives and more than one million worldwide.
