
Three new outdoor learning programs are launching at the Morrison Dam Conservation Area, in Exeter.
The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority says the programs are Oaks and Acorns (preschoolers with caregiver); Science Outdoors (primary, junior, intermediate, half-day program); and Outdoor School (all day; ages 9-13).
Remote learners and homeschoolers are eligible for the new programming.
Oaks and Acorns is a program for children ages 2-5 accompanied by an adult caregiver starting on October 23rd. It will run on Fridays 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., until November 27th, 2020.
Science Outdoors is a program for those looking for outdoor learning beyond the classroom, and takes place on Wednesdays, over six weeks, starting October 21st.
The Outdoor School is an inquiry and curriculum based outdoor program for ages 9-13. The program starts on October 20th and will run on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. until November 24th.
