United States President Donald Trump spent the night at the Walter Reed Medical Centre and is expected to remain there for the next few days following his Covid diagnosis.
White House Physician Sean Conley provided another update in a statement, explaining Trump is “doing very well” and not requiring any supplemental oxygen.
President Trump has started Remdesivir therapy treatment.
After a quiet day on his Twitter account following confirmation that he and First Lady Melania had tested positive for Covid, Trump sent out a video message prior to being transferred to hospital last night.
In it, he thanks “everybody for their tremendous support” and says he “thinks he’s doing very well”.
Trump sent out another Tweet from hospital last night too: “Going well, I think! Thank you to all. LOVE!!!”
