A group of young volunteers will be transforming part of Goderich’s Main Beach.
The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation’s Coastal Conservation Youth Corps will be at the beach Saturday afternoon restoring native vegetation.
The LHCCC’s Youth Corps allow high school students to receive credit toward their required volunteer hours.
Saturday’s co-hort will be the centre’s fourth to assist in environmental clean-up and restoration.
The public is also invited to Saturday’s vegetation and dune restoration Saturday at Goderich’s Main Beach, at 12:30 p.m..
