Grey Bruce Health Services is offering appointments at the COVID-19 Assessment Centre in Owen Sound this weekend, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to address the high volume of people waiting for an appointment.
The hospital says walk-ins are not being accepted.
They note, testing is recommended for people with symptoms of COVID-19 or those who have been told by Public Health to get a test.
To make an appointment, you can book online at gbhs.on.ca or call the Assessment Centre at 519-378-1466.
Meanwhile, the Hospital says if you make an appointment and your plans change, they’re urging you to cancel the appointment.
Grey Bruce Health Services says on Twitter they had 37 no-shows Tuesday, and explain they could have tested more people if those no-shows had let them know they weren’t coming.
