Huron County OPP have charged an Essex County man, after police say a man suspiciously approached two people, including a teenager.
According to reports, the first incident involved the suspect approaching a teenaged student waiting for the school bus, asking if she wanted to get into his vehicle.
Police say the student declined, and reported the matter when she arrived at school.
OPP report the accused was later involved in an, where the victim feared for their safety when the suspect followed her vehicle to a business in Lucknow.
Officers say there a brief exchange, before the accused left the scene.
Later that day, the accused was arrested in Perth County for driving related offences. Upon his release in Perth County the accused was transferred into the custody of Huron OPP.
While in the custody of Huron OPP, the accused threatened to cause harm to one of the investigating officers, and intentionally caused damage to a holding cell.
A 58 year old is charged with two counts of criminal harassment, and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
