Three more schools in the region have confirmed new COVID-19 cases.
A student or staff at Admiral Collingwood Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19.
It says anyone who has been in close contact with the person will be notified and sent home to quarantine for 2 weeks.
There is also a case confirmed at St. Angela Merici Catholic School in Bradford, where one class has been sent home to self-isolate for 2 weeks, as a result.
While two classes have been sent home to isolate, after a confirmed case at St. Paul’s Catholic School in Alliston.
The other confirmed cases have been discovered at: Sister Catherine Donnelly Catholic School, Father F.X. O’Reilly Catholic School, St. John Vianney Catholic School.
There are also two in the Simcoe County District at Bear Creek in Barrie and Twin Lakes in Orillia.
The Trillium Lakelands District School Board has one case so far: Spruce Glen Public School in Huntsville.
