There is a new case of Covid-19 in Collingwood.
The local health unit is investigating where a man 18 to 34 got the virus.
The other new cases are five in Barrie including a girl under 17, and there is one case in Innisfil today.
There is a total of seven new cases today.
There are no new deaths.
The health unit says cases are on the rise with 42 so far this week and 52 cases last week.
Last week was the third highest number since the pandemic started.
Muskoka is seeing a surge with clustering in certain households.
The health unit says the outbreak at the Pita Pit in Huntsville is now over. Originally, health officials said there were three cases at the restaurant, but it has been changed to two.
There are three outbreaks at long term care homes in Simcoe/Muskoka. They are at Leacock Retirement Lodge Ltd in Orillia with one case in an adult, one staff at The Pines Long Term Care Residence in Bracebridge has a case and one staff has a case at Muskoka Shores Care Community in Gravenhurst.
