An overnight incident in Penetanguishene has OPP conducting an attempted murder investigation.
Police responded last evening at 6:49 pm after getting reports of a disturbance at a Church Street apartment.
An injured male was taken to Georgian Bay General Hospital, then transported by Ornge to a Toronto area trauma hospital for further treatment.
Three people were arrested at the scene.
Charged with Attempt to Commit Murder, Forcible Confinement and Aggravated Assault are 27 year old Eric Sandy of Penetanguishene, 38 year old Jeremy Anthony Bottineau of Tay Township and 39 year old Mary Ann Dunlop of Penetanguishene.
They remain in custody awaiting a video bail hearing and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date.
Police says it’s an isolated incident and they do not believe there is any threat to public safety.
