A 34-year-old Midland man faces charges after police found him in an idling vehicle appearing in need of medical assistance.
OPP responded around 10:45 pm Sunday to a Simcoe County Road 93 restaurant parking lot.
Police found a quantity of suspected opioid pills and other drug paraphernalia, along with an air pellet rifle and small calibre rifle.
The accused was on judicial release at the time. He’s been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon and failing to comply with an undertaking as well as possession of opioids.
He’s scheduled for an October 10th court date in Midland.
