OPP are looking for the public’s help to solve a hit and run involving a pedestrian, in Midland.
Police say a pedestrian was crossing Simcoe County Road 93 at the crosswalk when they were hit by a pick-up truck last Thursday (Sept 17) just after 4 P.M..
OPP say the pedestrian was run over by the truck. Police say after a verbal confrontation the pick-up truck left the scene and the pedestrian went to the hospital to be treated and released for injuries sustained in the incident.
Investigators are looking to speak to the driver of the Dodge pick-up truck who is described as white, around 40 years old, wearing an orange high visibility construction type shirt and a baseball cap.
OPP want to speak to witnesses and get any possible video footage available.
