Charges have been laid, after a truck crashed into a bridge on Highway 400 and Innisfil Beach Road.
The crash happened around 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon, and police say the driver of the transport, left the scene.
The collision caused significant damage to the overpass and forced the closure of a portion of IBR for approximately two hours.
Police say the transport truck was located several kilometres away shortly after the collision and luckily, no one was injured.
A 55-year-old Severn Township man is now facing charges.
