Residents in most of Grey Bruce can drop off their old propane tanks, paint cans or other household hazardous waste this weekend.
Both Grey and Bruce counties are hosting collection events on Saturday.
In Grey County, the Public Works Facility on 20th Street East is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The service is open to residents of Owen Sound, Chatsworth, Georgian Bluffs, Grey Highlands, Meaford and West Grey.
Bruce County residents can visit the Bruce County Garage in Walkerton (94 Bruce Road 2) between 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Certain items are not accepted at either household hazardous waste collection event, such as commercial and industrial waste, or explosives.
