The longest March Break ever is finally over, as many kids across the province head back-to-school today–at least those who are attending in-class learning.
Elementary students in the Simcoe County District School Board, students with the surnames A-G will attend class today, while letters H-O will join them tomorrow and the rest on Thursday.
All secondary students in the SCDSB will also attend Thursday, but all students in county class programs will begin class today.
Students, teachers and school staff must self-screen for symptoms of COVID-19 before leaving home.
Students and staff who are unwell must stay home from school.
Students in Grades 4 to 12 will be required to wear non-medical or cloth masks indoors in school, including in hallways and during classes.
Students in kindergarten to Grade 3 will be encouraged, but not required, to wear masks in indoor spaces.

For the Bluewater District School Board, the first day of school for JK/SK and Grade 9 students will be today, while primary and Grade 10 students will begin tomorrow.

The Trillium Lakelands District School Board will have a staggered start to the school year for the first two weeks for elementary students and the first week for secondary students. There will be no in-school classes scheduled for secondary students from September 8 to 11.
