Ontario and Quebec are getting together next week.
Today Premier Doug Ford announced the Quebec/Ontario Summit, which will happen next Tuesday and Wednesday in Ontario.
Ford says it’s happening at a critical juncture in the two Provinces history.
“Our two provinces working together can create the strongest economic union in North America,” said Ford.
Ford says the two provinces will work to counter US protectionism, and talk infrastructure and moving the country forward.
With Ontario and Quebec coming together Ford says their two economic powerhouses will be unstoppable.
As evidence of Ontario’s potential, Ford today announced $37 million for skills training which will help 15,000 Ontarians prepare for new careers.
