The Collingwood man who drowned on the weekend on Manitoulin Island has been identified.
Damon Clarke, 48, is presumed to have drowned while trying to save two kids at Carter Bay Beach.
OPP say the man was swimming with the kids when the undertow pulled them further from shore on Saturday afternoon.
Police say that as the man pushed the children closer to shore, he was pulled under.
The investigation is ongoing and autopsy will be conducted.
