A Barrie resident faces assault charges stemming from an incident that happened north of Parry Sound.
Sunday shortly after 6:30 pm, OPP responded to a domestic assault complaint on Highway 69 in Wallbridge Township.
A 50-year-old Barrie resident was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, assault and being unlawfully in a dwelling house.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Parry Sound court September 17th.
The OPP isn’t releasing the name of the accused in order to protect the victim’s identity.
