The Dufferin County Tourism website has officially launched, as officials try to work out a new strategy to show tourists what the area has to offer.
People will now be able to click on different categories for dining in Dufferin, shopping, where to stay, and what to discover and experience in the region.
In June, the County of Dufferin entered a partnership with a consultant, Bannikin Travel and Tourism and began to develop a five year Tourism Strategy and Action Plan.
Dufferin County residents and business owners can participate in a Stakeholder Survey that recently launched, that will allow the consultants to create that action plan.
It takes about 20 minutes to complete, and for each survey that is done, they will donate $1 to the Orangeville Food Bank.
The survey – found here https://joinindufferin.com/tourism-in-dufferin/survey_tools/stakeholder-survey – will close on September 19th at 5 pm.
