An application has been filed with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario for a cannabis retail store for Shelburne.
According to the the A-G-C-O’s website, there is an application submission by Cannabis Stop Inc. undergoing public notice for a proposed location at 171 Main Street.
The application is open for submissions of filing an objection to the shop, but only on matters of public interest such as protecting public health and safety as well as youth and their access to cannabis, or preventing illicit activities in relation to cannabis.
Any submissions could be provided to the applicant and are not anonymous.
The deadline for anyone to submit comments is September 7th.
