
Two additional recoveries and zero new COVID-19 cases were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit on Friday.
The active known case count in the region is now down to two, according to the health unit’s daily disclosure.
No one is currently hospitalized in the region due to the virus.
Over the course of the pandemic, there have been zero deaths attributed to Covid in Grey and Bruce counties.
Across Ontario, the highest daily jump in new cases was reported yesterday since the end of July — 131 — however, health officials say the figure includes data from several health units who were unable to provide their information earlier this week.
Hospitalizations continue to fall in the province. According to the Ministry of Health’s data published Friday, only 35 people are currently admitted for care for Covid across the province.
