A family has been rescued from the waters of Lake Simcoe.
On Monday, August 17, 2020, around 9:00 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a vessel in distress on Lake Simcoe off Snake Island.
The marine unit responded and located an Innisfil family of six aboard a boat that had lost power.
Everyone was brought safely back to shore at Innisfil Beach Road Park by the officers.
