Baseball diamonds are open again in Chatsworth Township.
The township municipal office is accepting bookings for baseball diamonds effective immediately.
“We hope they are once enjoyed by the baseball enthusiast young and old alike,” Mayor Scott Mackey says in a statement. “We are working towards the opening of our other recreational facilities for October 1, 2020.”
The township is encouraging users of the baseball diamonds to follow all Public Health recommendations relating to hygiene and physical distancing.
“Users are encouraged to disinfect any equipment often, and to avoid touching the bleachers, dugouts, or fence whenever possible,” a statement from the Township of Chatsworth explains. “Parents and guardians are asked to remind their children of this.”
