One of the bus services which runs from Owen Sound to Guelph, will start back up again on July 20th.
Kasper Wabinski, CEO of Kasper Transportation says they will be requiring face masks, reduced capacity, conducting temperature checks, and continuing their practice of “complete and detailed vehicle cleaning.”
Wabinski says “We have invested and will continue to invest the funds and resources to work laterally with all levels of government and communities to meet the safety requirements recommended for us to follow.”
He notes, Some of their prices have changed, and some routes have new stops added. You can see the details at https://gokasper.com/
A similar City of Owen Sound service to Guelph operated by Voyago didn't launch as planned in the spring due to the pandemic.
A city official expects they'll have it up and running by around Labour Day once the buses are outfitted with protective features to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
