The Grey Bruce Health Unit has developed a strategy for COVID-19 testing in workplace settings.
It involves a series of COVID-19 tests on asymptomatic staff in an attempt to determine rates of infections in a controlled environment.
Public Health says The first corporate participants to be tested under this strategy will be Bruce Power. Individual participation will be voluntary.
it was chosen was based on criteria related to risk of transmission in the workplace, impact of transmission, and practically of testing.
The health unit says Data from the strategy will be collated and analyzed as a feasibility study.
Public Health says results of the study and its analysis will be made public at the end of the study.

-Test iteration (for example: first, second and third tests in the series)
-Shift/time of day of work
-Participant’s department or type of work (for example: desk vs manual labour)
-Age group
-Sex
-Live alone?
-Live with children?
-Household size (5?)
-Level of concern about COVID-19
-Reason for concern
Outcome variables:
-Rate of asymptomatic infection.
-Participation rate
-Time required to collect swabs
-False positive rate
-Participant perception of value of test
