A popular summer transit service in Saugeen Shores will not be running this year.
The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce has announced the S.S. Trolley will be suspended for the 2020 season.
“This difficult decision was reached after reviewing current recommendations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of the S.S. Trolley riders and drivers is the top priority,” a release from the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce explains.
The S.S. Trolley typically travels between Southampton and Port Elgin during the summer months and makes several stops at various attractions in Saugeen Shores.
