A Hanover woman is recovering in hospital after being struck by a vehicle at the Exceldor Foods parking lot.
Hanover Police say the collision occurred around 4:20 a.m. Friday morning, when a 35-year-old woman from Hanover was about to start her regular shift at the plant.
Police say she was walking in the parking area outside Exceldor Foods when she was struck by a Ford truck driven by a 62-year-old Elmwood man.
The woman was rushed to the Hanover and District Hospital. She has since been transported to Victoria Hospital in London where she remains in stable condition.
Police say the driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
The incident remains under investigation by the Ministry of Labour and the Hanover Police Service.
Hanover Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed to the collision to contact them.
