A survey is open in Owen Sound to garner feedback on the potential sale of parkland in the city's east side.
In early March, city council approved a recommendation to allow staff to proceed with the process to consider the sale of a half-hectare portion of parkland within Stoney Orchard and Timber McArthur Parks. The property is located north of 23rd Street East near Saint-Dominque-Savio School.
Barry's Construction made a request to the city about the acquisition last year as it looks to complete a subdivision build-out.
The city is looking for input on how the park is currently used.
The survey is open until June 12. A link to it is available here.
