A grass fire on the weekend in the area of Owen Sound's water treatment plant was kept under control by the fire department.
Deputy Chief Michael Clark says they're not sure what started the fire Saturday which burned a swath of tall grass about 100ft by 60 ft in size.
Clark says three trucks and about 11 firefighters responded. He notes, while it was in the general area of the water plant, it was not actually physically near it, but closer to a pathway that goes through the area.
