The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce is postponing Canada Day fireworks because of COVID-19.
In a media release, they say “We hope to select a new date for the fireworks
once safe viewing and operations are possible.”
They say they're working with community partners to make social distancing celebrations available to the community on July 1st and an announcement on what that will entail will be made once details have been finalized.
They add, “The community of Saugeen Shores has shown great displays of compassion and positivity during this difficult time, and we want to bring more smiles to our community.”
