Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 24 year old Waterloo man after a vehicle hit a hydro pole and the driver fled the scene.
Police say it happened on Saturday evening on Bruce Road 13 in Saugeen First Nation between Sauble Beach and Southampton.
OPP say a white SUV hit a hydro pole and when police arrived, the people in the vehicle had left the scene.
With the help of Saugeen Shores police, OPP located the driver and a passenger a short time later in Southampton.
They charged the driver with failure or refusal to comply with a breath demand, and failure to stop after an accident.
No injuries were reported.
