14 more cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Maple View long term care home in Owen Sound.
Public health confirms increased testing capabilities revealed the majority of residents in the home have the virus, so far showing 22 out of the 29 residents have it and 12 of them have no symptoms but have tested positive.
Meanwhile, Public Health says 15 staff members there have COVID-19. So far about half of the staff of 45 have been tested, and the others are in the process of being tested.
Two cases in the home have recovered.
As of Sunday, (Apr 19) there is currently no one hospitalized with the virus in Grey Bruce and there have been no deaths here due to COVID-19.
So far, 63 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Grey-Bruce, 13 of them have recovered and 20 of the cases are in healthcare workers (15 of those work at Maple View).
