West Grey Police have charged a man with assault, break and enter, attempted theft and possession of fentanyl after a 911 call to a home.
Police say they responded to the call on April 3rd and upon arrival, found the owners of the residence in a confrontation with a man.
According to police, during the confrontation the suspect assaulted the property owner.
They say further investigation determined the man had tried to steal multiple vehicles from the property and break into the owner's house.
Police arrested a 37 year old man and charged him with break and enter, attempt theft, assault causing bodily harm possession of fentanyl and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody.
