Saugeen Shores Police say they seized a large quantity of suspected purple fentanyl last week following a suspected overdose.
Police say on March 24th after 9:00pm they were dispatched to assist paramedics after a 46 year old Port Elgin man was found unresponsive.
A responding officer administered two doses of Naloxone which Police say had little effect. Police note that officers are equipped with Naloxone.
After being worked on by paramedics, the male regained consciousness and was transported to Saugeen Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.
