Grey County has put a call out for available N95 masks, surgical masks, gloves, gowns and face shields.
“They're really important to keep our frontline workers safe in the fight against COVID-19. So it would be for paramedic services and fire services,” says Economic Development Director Savannah Myers.
Myers was approached by the Director of Paramedic Services to see if her department could connect with local businesses that are slow or closing because of the COVID-19 pandemic, who might have some of these supplies.
“Anything available. Because we don't know how long this is going to go on, the more stock, the better,” says Myers, adding “Any assistance is much appreciated.”
The County is asking any businesses with available stock they're not using that could be put to immediate use by paramedics and firefighters, to let them know, by contacting savanna.myers@grey.ca
Required supplies include:
N95 masks, model number: 3M18710, 3M9210 or 3MVFlex.
If you have another model of N95 let them know the model so we they can assess if it is something they can use.
Nitrile gloves
Disposable impermeable gowns
General surgical masks
