Ontario's public schools are closed until next month.
That decision announced yesterday (Thurs) by Education Minister Stephen Lecce who said Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health made the recommendation that the schools be closed March 14th thorugh the 5th.
Lecce said it's a measure to keep children safe and is a precautionary measure to slow down the risk of contracting the virus due to the increase in travel during March Break that could expose people to it.
This means all elementary and secondary schools in the Bluewater District School Board will be closed from March 14 to April 5, 2020.
