One person has died in a head on collision in Southgate.
OPP say it happened just after 2 Wednesday afternoon (March 11) on Southgate Sideroad 49 north of Southgate Sideroad 24.
Police say the 72 year old driver of a blue SUV was found deceased at the scene.
The 77 year old driver of the other vehicle, a white car, had non-life threatening injurie and was transported to hospital.
Police say there were no passengers in either vehicle.
OPP Technical Traffic Investigators attended and assisted with the investigation. The road was closed for several hours.
OPP say they will not be releasing the identity of the deceased until next of kin are notified.
