Due to Coronavirus concerns Bruce Power preemptively closed (temperarilty) it's Visitors Centre.
The Nuclear site was set to host a slew of March Break activities; which were cancelled yesterday (March 11).
Bruce Power says they were expecting up to 1,500 visitors during the March Break program from a wide geographic area, including outside of the region, and believe out of an abundance of caution the right thing to do is to cancel those activities.
Bruce Power reminds the public that safety is their number one value and the organization has taken a number of preventative actions proactively in every area of our operation.
