Five people were arrested and charged with drug related offences after police searched a Port Elgin residence earlier this week.
Saugeen Shores Police, with the assistance of Owen Sound Police, executed the warrant on Wednesday, March 4. Police have not disclosed the location of the residence they searched.
The five people arrested by police, three men and two women, are all from Port Elgin.
All of the accused face simple drug possession charges for substances such as cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl. None of them are charged with drug trafficking offences, according to information provided by police
