A Georgian Bluffs man allegedly threatened another with a machete in an incident of road rage Monday.
Grey Bruce OPP say officers were called to a confrontation around 3:30 p.m. March 2 between two motorists on Kemble Rock Road in Georgian Bluffs.
Police say the altercation began following a near collision at an intersection north of Kemble. The vehicles then met up again a few kilometres down the road, and police say at this point one of the drivers blocked the road to force the other to stop.
OPP say the driver of the blocking vehicle then exited his car with a machete in hand and made threats to the other driver.
The driver of the stopped vehicle left the scene without injuries.
OPP say the suspect vehicle and driver were located parked on the side of the road on Grey Road 1.
A 33-year-old Georgian Bluffs man was arrested and faces numerous offences, including possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was remanded into custody following a bail hearing Tuesday.
