Savour Owen Sound is set to begin March 1st with local restaurants offering specials all month long.
It's a four-week culinary event that helps bring people in from out of town and also entice locals to enjoy their favourite restaurant or try out a new one. Over the past decade or so, communities around Canada have begun to hold similar events, often in the wintertime.
Specific, fixed price menus have been prepared by each of the participating restaurants.

Meanwhile, you can also pick up a Savour Passport and enjoy two or more Savour Owen Sound Specials, then hand the passport in to one of the restaurants or to City Hall before March 31st and have a chance to win the “Savour Foodie Basket.”
The grand prize draw is set for April 2nd.
On top of that, multiple weekly draws will be happening on the Owen Sound Tourism Events and Attractions Facebook page and @CityOfOwenSound on Instagram throughout the event.
You can also vote for your favourite Savour Owen Sound restaurant. The winning one will get to display the coveted People's Choice Savour Skillet.
