A 47-year-old Saugeen First Nation man faces a criminal charge after allegedly hitting someone in the head with a metal bar.
Grey Bruce OPP say officers were called to a Cameron Drive residence in Saugeen First Nation just before 7 p.m. Tuesday and arrived to find a male who had an injury to his head.
Police say the victim was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
OPP say during the investigation the male suspect who allegedly struck the victim was placed under arrest.
Police have charged Jason Petonoquot, 47, with assault with a weapon.
He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Walkerton court next month.
