Provincial Police have identified the man who died in a two-vehicle collision north of Mildmay Tuesday.
South Bruce OPP say Kenneth Bruce Macdonald, 75, of Teeswater was pronounced dead at the scene of a head-on crash between a compact car and a transport truck.
Police officers, South Bruce firefighters and Bruce County paramedics were called to the scene of the crash on Highway 9, just south of Concession Road 12 East, shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
OPP say preliminary investigation determined the compact vehicle was heading northbound on Highway 9 when for unknown reasons it crossed the centre line and collided head-on with a transport truck heading southbound.
The driver of the transport was not injured.
South Bruce OPP, with assistance from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team, continue to investigate the incident.
