As the Bluewater District School Board looks ahead, you should too and share your ideas on the next budget to be developed.
A 2020-21 Budget public consultation survey is available to have your say.
The board is inviting members of the public to take part in an online survey as part of the annual budget planning process.
Superintendent of Business Services & Treasurer Rob Cummings says they want to know what stakeholders think is important to them for the upcoming year that starts in September.
He says as they develop the next year's budget, they will take into consideration any input from the public.
Cummings admits there's a great deal of uncertainty about developing the budget but they wanted the survey out now to get the feedback as quickly as possible.
He says the survey is available now on the Bluewater District School Board website and will remain there until Wednesday, March 4th and should take less than 10-minutes to complete.
In addition to the survey, you are invited to present your ideas for next year's budget, in person, at the Business Committee of the Whole Board meeting, on Tuesday, April 7th.
The meeting will be held at the Education Centre in Chesley starting at 4:30pm.
Next year's education budget needs to finalized before the end of this school year in June.
