Elementary students attending Bluewater District School Board schools will not receive a Term One Report Card.
The School Board announced today that due to the current provincial labour action involving the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO) it will not be possible for report cards to be completed due to job action.
Term one report cards reflect the student's midyear progress based on the work completed in the first half of the school year.
The school board says a letter will be placed in students Ontario Student Record (OSR), stating that a report card for term one February 2020 was not completed due to job action.
Bluewater does stress that if a parent does have concerns about their children's academic standing to contact the student's teacher.
