Hanover and Grey County have partnered to offer a Regional Job Fair in Hanover this February.
Employers across the region are invited to participate in the Regional Job Fair and can do so by registering online with Grey County. ( grey.ca/hanover-job-fair )
Hanover Economic Development Manager April Marshal calls this a great opportunity for employers to seek out new hires.
The goal of the Job Fair is to promote regional economic development.
The Job Fair will take place on Thursday February 27th at the John Diefenbaker Senior School, it will be open to the students during the day and the general public in the evening.
Marshall says this will provide students with a better idea of the employment opportunities available and the general public a chance to see who is hiring in the region.
Employers that register will receive a 10×10 booth and have the opportunity to partner with regional stakeholders stretching as far as Wasaga Beach, Orangeville and Peel Region.
Registration is $50 for the Hanover Job Fair.
Marshall says the Hanover Job Fair will follow the Regional Job Fair that will be held in Owen Sound on February 20th at the Bayshore Community Centre.
By hosting a second Regional Job Fair in Hanover, Marshall says employers will be able to better reach those in the southern section of Grey County.
