Loose cattle in Georgian Bluffs have led to some traffic problems in recent days.
Provincial Police say they were called to a collision involving a car and a cow yesterday in Georgian Bluffs near Benallen, west of Balmy Beach, on Concession 10 between Grey Road 17 and Gordon Sutherland Parkway.
OPP say it was the second time in as many days officers were called to a collision involving a vehicle and a cow in the same area.
Saturday, police say they were called to a collision between a sport utility vehicle and three cows that were struck as they stood in the roadway on Grey Road 17 near Benallen.
Police say the SUV ended up going off the roadway and struck a telephone pole, knocking wires down.
OPP say the driver involved avoided injury. Grey County paramedics and Inter-Township firefighters were also called to the scene.
Provincial Police say approximately 30 to 40 cows remain loose in the area, although the owner — who attended both accident scenes — is working to secure them.
